1. Introduction
PursuitARK (“Platform”) is operated by InnovateARM Incorporated, a Connecticut corporation (“InnovateARM,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you access or use PursuitARK at pursuitark.com and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
When you register for an account or use the Service, we may collect:
- Account information: First name, last name, email address, and password (stored as a cryptographic hash).
- Professional information: Job title, role, and organization name (if provided).
- Assessment content: Bid qualification responses, opportunity details, proposal data, and notes you enter into the Platform.
- Meeting and transcript data: If you choose to upload meeting recordings or transcripts for retrospective analysis, the content of those recordings or transcripts. Explicit consent is required before any meeting recording is processed, as described in Section 4.
- Payment information: Billing details collected and processed by our payment processor, Stripe, Inc. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers. Please review Stripe’s privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.
- Communications: Messages, feedback, or support requests you send to us.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you use the Service, we automatically collect certain technical information, including:
- Usage data: Pages visited, features used, assessment scores, and interaction logs. We also collect referrer URL, browser user agent, and approximate geographic location (country, region, city) derived from your IP address for analytics and security purposes.
- Device and connection information: IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers.
- Cookies and similar technologies: Session cookies necessary for authentication and platform functionality. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to collect aggregated analytics data about how visitors interact with the Platform. GA4 sets cookies (_ga, _ga_*) to distinguish users and sessions. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
2.3 Information from Third Parties
If you connect third-party services such as Salesforce or HubSpot to your PursuitARK account, we may receive information from those services in accordance with your authorization and their respective privacy policies.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- Providing the Service: Operating, maintaining, and improving the Platform; processing assessments; generating AI-powered analysis and narratives; managing your account.
- Communications: Sending transactional emails (account verification, payment receipts, password resets, survey notifications), service announcements, and support responses.
- Analytics and improvement: Understanding how users interact with the Platform to improve features, performance, and user experience.
- Security: Detecting and preventing fraud, unauthorized access, and abuse.
- Legal compliance: Meeting our legal obligations, enforcing our Terms and Conditions, and resolving disputes.
- Billing: Processing payments, managing subscriptions, and issuing receipts.
4. Artificial Intelligence Processing
PursuitARK uses the Claude API provided by Anthropic, PBC to generate narrative analysis, improvement recommendations, and retrospective summaries. The following terms govern this processing:
- Inference only: Your data is used solely for inference (generating responses) and is not used to train Anthropic’s AI models.
- Data minimization: We pass only the information necessary to generate the requested output to the AI API.
- Meeting recordings and transcripts: Meeting recordings or transcripts uploaded for retrospective analysis are processed by AI. Named individuals are anonymized in all AI-generated outputs. Explicit participant consent is required before any recording is processed. You are responsible for obtaining consent from all participants before uploading any recording or transcript.
5. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:
- Service providers: Third-party companies that help us operate the Platform, including Anthropic (AI processing), Stripe (payments), Amazon Web Services (hosting and storage), SendGrid (email delivery), and Twilio (SMS delivery). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and use it only as directed by us.
- Google (Google Analytics 4 — aggregated, anonymised analytics data). Please review Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
- CRM integrations: If you authorize a CRM integration (Salesforce, HubSpot), we will share assessment data with those platforms as directed by you.
- Organization members: If you are part of an organization on PursuitARK, certain account and assessment information may be visible to authorized members of your organization.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or government authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of InnovateARM, our users, or the public.
- Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting support@pursuitark.com. We will delete your personal data within 30 days of a verified deletion request, except where retention is required by law or legitimate business purposes (such as fraud prevention or dispute resolution).
Assessment data may be retained in anonymized, aggregated form after account deletion for platform analytics and improvement purposes.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal information.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
- Portability: Request your personal information in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Objection and restriction: Object to or request restriction of certain processing activities.
- Withdrawal of consent: Where processing is based on consent, withdraw that consent at any time.

EU/UK users: If you are located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or UK GDPR. Our lawful bases for processing your personal data are: performance of a contract (providing the Service), legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, service improvement), legal obligation, and consent (where specified). You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
8. Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including encryption at rest and in transit, access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information and are not responsible for unauthorized access resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
9. Children’s Privacy
The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 18, please contact us at support@pursuitark.com and we will promptly delete it.
10. Third-Party Links
The Service may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites and encourage you to review their privacy policies.
11. International Data Transfers
InnovateARM Incorporated is based in the United States. If you are located outside the United States, your personal information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. By using the Service, you consent to such transfers. We take steps to ensure that any such transfers comply with applicable data protection law.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on the Platform with an updated effective date and increment the version number. For material changes, we will notify registered users by email. Your continued use of the Service after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
